Add OpenWebTrack to WordPress without a plugin

No plugin needed. Paste one tag into your theme.

1

Add the tag to your theme header so every page includes it. Go to Appearance -> Theme File Editor -> header.php and paste before </head>.

header.php
<head>
  <script
    defer
    src="https://cloud.openwebtrack.one/script.js"
    data-website-id="YOUR_WEBSITE_ID"
    data-domain="yourdomain.com"
  ></script>
  <?php wp_head(); ?>
</head>

Safer on updates: use Insert Headers and Footers plugin -> Settings -> Insert Headers -> paste the same tag -> Save. For cookieless use script.cookieless.js. For self-hosted replace cloud.openwebtrack.one with your ORIGIN.

2

Navigation is tracked automatically as pageviews. WordPress is mostly multi-page, but any SPA-like navigation is still counted without extra code.

3

Deploy and open the site at the address you gave the dashboard (not the admin). The realtime view shows the visit within seconds; if nothing appears, check that data-domain matches and that an ad blocker is not blocking the request.
